Out-of-form Virat Kohli checks into NCA

BANGALORE: With the home series against West Indies looming, Virat Kohli seems keen on regaining batting form. The batting star arrived at the National Cricket Academy on Monday to train ahead of the series along with Shikhar Dhawan, Ambati Rayudu and pace bowlers Mohammad Shami and Ishant Sharma.

Kohli had a forgettable tour of England recently. In Tests, he made a mere 134 runs from ten innings. His poor run continued in the ODI's as he turned in poor scores of 0, 40, 1 and 13.

The 25-year-old spent a large part of his time batting at the nets as well as working on his fitness with the trainers. India will play five ODI's, a T20 and three Test matches against West Indies at home.
