GALLE: Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the first Test in Galle on Sunday to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
The hosts, set a target of 99 runs in a minimum of 21 overs after Pakistan were bowled out for 180 in their second innings, coasted home in the 17th over in front of 5,000 home fans.
